Made-to-Measure Suits - For A Special Day

Regent made-to-measure tweed suit
Regent have been busy over the last couple of months designing and making suits ready for customer's forthcoming weddings this summer. A made-to-measure suit is a great way to get the perfect suit for a special day, something different to what you might find out on the High Street. By something different we don't mean something loud and brash, you wouldn't want to up-stage the bride, but you can stand confidently at the alter in a beautifully cut and tailored suit.

So, whether it is to be something in tweed, a classic morning suit or a subtle grey wool suit, Regent will help you create the perfect outfit. To have a look at a few examples of outfits check out our the wedding gallery here. To learn more about having a suit made you can find out more by visiting our Wedding Suits page.

As well as tailoring the suit, Regent can also help with the accessories. From a classic white shirt to the handmade tie, it is the finer details that can make an outfit. If you are looking to match a colour scheme Regent have a wide selection of ties available and will always do their best to help.

The Day Her Majesty Came to Town

Tuesday 1st May was a big day for Salisbury. For the first time since 1974 Her Majesty the Queen and Prince Philip visited Salisbury and the Cathedral, arriving by train before travelling through the city to the Cathedral Close.

The Royal window.
The Regent shop, being positioned just off the High Street, was in a prime position for a good view of the procession as it passed by. The Union Jack always flys proudly at Regent but it was good to see the city full of bunting and flags to celebrate the Queens arrival, it was also a great opportunity to dress up the window with a Royal theme that has earned many admiring comments.

To top off the day Jason, James and Will all made sure they were appropriately dressed just in case Her Majesty felt inclined to visit. You can read more about and see pictures of the visit on the BBC website.
